Industrial Vacuum Thermoforming in Lithuania — Prototypes to Serial Production

MB TERMOFORMA is a Lithuanian manufacturer of vacuum-thermoformed plastic parts for industry, transport and equipment. We take a part from a single prototype through low and medium runs to serial production — one supplier, one in-house chain.

From 100–500 parts to serial runs

Vacuum thermoforming has low tooling cost and short lead times, which makes it the economical route for low and medium volumes where injection moulding does not pay off — typically from a handful of prototypes up to several thousand parts.

We build the tooling in-house (aluminium, composite or 3D-printed), form the parts, CNC-trim them on 3 axes and assemble — so scaling from prototype to serial production stays with one supplier and one validated tool.

Frequently asked questions

What production volumes do you handle?

From single prototypes and low/medium volumes (for example 100–500 parts) up to serial production of several thousand parts. Vacuum thermoforming is most economical exactly in this low-to-medium range.

Can you take a part from prototype to serial production?

Yes. We build the tooling in-house, prove the part as a prototype, then run low, medium or serial volumes from the same validated tool — no supplier change between stages.

What is the largest part you can produce?

Up to a forming area of 2200 × 1500 mm, from sheet up to 2300 × 1600 mm — one of the largest in the Baltic region.

Which materials and thicknesses?

ABS, HIPS, PS, PC, PETG, PMMA, PE and PVC, in thicknesses from 0.4 to 8 mm.

Do you do CNC trimming and assembly?

Yes — 3-axis CNC trimming with manual finishing, plus assembly, so parts arrive finished rather than as raw formings.

From prototype to serial — one supplier

Send your drawing (STEP, STP, STL, SLDPRT) or describe the part and target volume. We will confirm feasibility and quote prototypes, low/medium or serial production.
