Why thermoforming for vehicle parts

For automotive and transport parts in low to medium volumes, vacuum thermoforming is the economical route: tooling costs a fraction of an injection mould and lead times are short, which suits electric-vehicle programmes, buses and commercial transport where series are counted in hundreds, not millions.

We form interior and exterior panels, covers and technical parts up to 2200×1500 mm in ABS, HIPS, PC and PETG, CNC-trim them on 3 axes and build the tooling in-house — proven on real vehicle projects.

Frequently asked questions

Do you make parts for electric vehicles and buses?

Yes. We produce thermoformed interior and exterior parts for electric vehicles, buses and commercial transport — proven on real vehicle projects, in low to medium volumes.

What size vehicle parts can you form?

Up to a forming area of 2200 × 1500 mm, from sheet up to 2300 × 1600 mm — enough for large interior and exterior panels.

Which materials for automotive parts?

ABS and HIPS for durable trim and covers, PC (polycarbonate) for impact resistance, PETG for clear or hygienic parts, in thicknesses from 0.4 to 8 mm.

What volumes do you cover?

Low to medium volume — from prototypes and small batches to serial runs in the hundreds and low thousands, which is exactly where thermoforming beats injection moulding on cost.

Do you trim and finish the parts?

Yes — 3-axis CNC trimming with manual finishing gives clean edges, openings and cut-outs, so parts arrive ready to fit rather than as raw formings.

Need a vehicle part thermoformed?

Send your drawing (STEP, STP, STL, SLDPRT) or describe the part and vehicle. We will confirm feasibility against our 2200×1500 mm forming area and quote prototypes or low/medium volume production.
